AC-BP13820c
Background:
This gene encodes a member of the sorting nexin family.Members of this family contain a phox (PX) domain, which is aphosphoinositide binding domain, and are involved in intracellulartrafficking. The encoded protein also contains a regulator of Gprotein signaling (RGS) domain. Regulator of G protein signalingfamily members are regulatory molecules that act as GTPaseactivating proteins for G alpha subunits of heterotrimeric Gproteins. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms havebeen identified for this gene.
Other Names:
Sorting nexin-14, SNX14
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP13820c was selected from the Center region of SNX14. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: SNX14
Gene ID: 57231
Primary Accession: Q9Y5W7
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
