For certain sample types, such as stool specimens, pre-treatment is recommended prior to processing with SpeedPURE® kits. Due to the physical characteristics of stool samples, suspension of the material is generally required before nucleic acid extraction. For this purpose, the SpeedPURE® Dilution Buffer was developed to improve nucleic acid yield and reduce potential PCR inhibition associated with such samples.
