SpeedPURE® Pre-Lysis Buffer

For certain sample types, such as whole-blood, pre-treatment is recommended prior to processing with SpeedPURE® kits. Compared to plasma samples, whole blood contains a higher proportion of cellular material (e.g., human cells), which increases sample complexity. To support processing of such samples, the SpeedPURE® Pre-Lysis Buffer was developed. This buffer is used in a pre-incubation step in which whole blood samples are diluted and treated with lysis buffer to improve nucleic acid isolation efficiency.
