AC-BP1441c
Background:
SWAP70 is a phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate-dependent guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) which, independently of RAS, transduces signals from tyrosine kinase receptors to RAC. It also mediates signaling of membrane ruffling. This protein regulates the actin cytoskeleton as an effector or adapter protein in response to agonist stimulated phosphatidylinositol (3,4)-bisphosphate production and cell protrusion.
Other Names:
Switch-associated protein 70, SWAP-70, SWAP70, KIAA0640
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP1441c was selected from the Center region of human SWAP70. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: SWAP70
Gene ID: 23075
Primary Accession: Q9UH65
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
