Background:
The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, White). This protein is a member of the MDR/TAP subfamily. Members of the MDR/TAP subfamily are involved in multidrug resistance. This gene is located 7 kb telomeric to gene family member ABCB2.
Alternative Name:
Antigen peptide transporter 2, APT2, ATP-binding cassette sub-family B member 3, Peptide supply factor 2, Peptide transporter PSF2, PSF-2, Peptide transporter TAP2, Peptide transporter involved in antigen processing 2, Really interesting new gene 11 protein, TAP2, ABCB3, PSF2, RING11, Y1
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:2000, IHC/IF: 1:50~1:200
Specificity: TAP2 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of TAP2 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant full length Human TAP2.
MW: ~72 kDa
Swis Prot.: Q03519
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
