Catalog Number: 24-3371-MSM1
Size: 100 µl, 0.5 ml, 1 ml
Isotype: Mouse IgG1, kappa
Size: 100 µl, 0.5 ml, 1 ml
Isotype: Mouse IgG1, kappa
Decription:
In Western blotting, it reacts with two bands of ~MW of 210kDa and 300kDa, identified as two isoforms of Tenascin C. Specificity of this monoclonal antibody is validated by sequential immunoprecipitation with a PAb against Tenascin C. Tenascin C is a multifunctional, disulfide-linkedĀhexameric extracellular matrix glycoprotein expressed in association with mesenchymal epithelial interactions during development and in the neo-vasculature and stroma of undifferentiated tumors. In adults, it is restricted to certain epithelial-stromal interfaces and increases markedly in hyper-proliferative diseases and in stroma of many neoplasms, including gliomas, breast, squamous and lung carcinomas.
Synonyms: Cytotactin, Glioma-associated-extracellular matrix antigen, GMEM, GP 150-225, Hexabrachion (HXB), JI, Myotendinous antigen, Neuronectin, TNC
Clone: T2H5
Isotype: Mouse IgG1, kappa
Immunogen: Human breast carcinoma
Reactivity: human. Does not react with rat. Others-not known.
Form: Purified, in 10mM PBS with 0.05% BSA & 0.05% azide. Also available WITHOUT BSA & azide at 1.0mg/ml.
Applications: Flow Cytometry (0.5-1ug/million cells in 0.1ml)
Immunofluorescence (0.5-1ug/ml)
Immunohistology (Formalin-fixed) (2-4ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT)
(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Tris with 1mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes)
Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
Reactivity: Extracellular matrix in tonsil and blood vessels. Stroma of many tumors such as breast, squamous cell, and lung carcinomas. Staining of normal fibroblasts serves as internal positive control
Concentration: 0.2mg/ml
Storage: Can be stored at +4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
