TESSP2 (testis serine protease 2) is a 293 amino acid secreted protein that belongs to the peptidase S1 family. TESSP2 contains one peptidase S1 domain and is encoded by a gene mapping to human chromosome 3p21.31. Chromosome 3 houses over 1,100 genes, including a chemokine receptor (CKR) gene cluster and a variety of human cancer-related gene loci.
