Background:
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the tiggersubfamily of the pogo superfamily of DNA-mediated transposons inhumans. These proteins are related to DNA transposons found infungi and nematodes, and more distantly to the Tc1 and marinertransposases. They are also very similar to the major mammaliancentromere protein B. The exact function of this gene is not known.
Other Names:
Tigger transposable element-derived protein 3, TIGD3
Gene Name: TIGD3
Gene ID: 220359
Primary Accession: Q6B0B8
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
