Background:
The protein encoded by this gene contains a structuralmodule related to that of the seven transmembrane domain Gprotein-coupled receptor superfamily. This protein has sequence andstructural similarities to the beta-amyloid binding protein (BBP),but, unlike BBP, it does not regulate a response to beta-amyloidpeptide. This protein may have regulatory roles in cell death orproliferation signal cascades. Several alternatively splicedtranscript variants of this gene are described but the full lengthnature of some variants has not been determined. Multiplepolyadenylation sites have been found in this gene. [provided byRefSeq].
Other Names:
TM2 domain-containing protein 3, Beta-amyloid-binding protein-like protein 2, BBP-like protein 2, TM2D3, BLP2
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence is selected from aa 37-50 of HUMAN TM2D3
Gene Name: TM2D3
Gene ID: 80213
Primary Accession: Q9BRN9
Other Accession: NP_510883.2
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
