Background:
A20, also referred to as TNF-α-induced protein 3 (TNFAIP3), is cytokine-inducible protein that functions to inhibit apoptosis and activate NF-κB. It was first identified as a TNF-α inducible primary response gene in human umbilical vein endothelial cells, and encodes a 790-amino acid protein containing seven Cys2/Cys2-zinc finger motifs. Constitutive expression of A20 is observed in lymphoid tissues, but it is transiently expressed in a variety of cell types in response to inflammatory signals such as TNF-α, IL-1, phorbol esters, and LPS.
Alternative Name:
Tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced protein 3, TNF alpha-induced protein 3, OTU domain-containing protein 7C, Putative DNA-binding protein A20, Zinc finger protein A20, A20p50, A20p37, TNFAIP3, OTUD7C
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000, IF: 1:50 - 1:200
Specificity: TNFAIP3 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of TNFAIP3 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant full length Human TNFAIP3.
MW: ~ 90 kDa
Swis Prot.: P21580
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide, 50% Glycerol.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
