Background:
This gene is a member of the zyxin family and encodes aprotein with three LIM zinc-binding domains. This protein localizesto focal adhesion sites and along actin stress fibers. Recruitmentof this protein to the plasma membrane occurs in a lysophosphatidicacid (LPA)-dependent manner and it regulates LPA-induced cellmigration. Alternatively spliced variants which encode differentprotein isoforms have been described; however, not all variantshave been fully characterized.
Other Names:
Thyroid receptor-interacting protein 6, TR-interacting protein 6, TRIP-6, Opa-interacting protein 1, OIP-1, Zyxin-related protein 1, ZRP-1, TRIP6, OIP1
Gene Name: TRIP6
Gene ID: 7205
Primary Accession: Q15654
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
