Background:
TSPAN7 encodes a protein with a proline-rich domain. This protein is located in a region of chromosome 22 reported to contain a tumor suppressor gene that may be involved in breast and colorectal tumorigenesis. Rare read-through transcripts, containing exons from the ARHGAP8 gene which is located immediately downstream, led to the original description of PRR5 and ARHGAP8 as a single gene.
Other Names:
Tetraspanin-7, Tspan-7, Cell surface glycoprotein A15, Membrane component chromosome X surface marker 1, T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia-associated antigen 1, TALLA-1, Transmembrane 4 superfamily member 2, CD231, TSPAN7, A15, DXS1692E, MXS1, TM4SF2
Gene Name: TSPAN7
Gene ID: 7102
Primary Accession: P41732
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
