Background:
Uba5 is the smallest ubiquitin-like molecule-activating enzyme and contains an adenylation domain and a C-terminal region. This enzyme only exists in multicellular organisms. Diseases associated with UBA5 include Epileptic Encephalopathy, Early Infantile, 44 and Spinocerebellar Ataxia, Autosomal Recessive, 24.
Alternative Name:
Ubiquitin-like modifier-activating enzyme 5, Ubiquitin-activating enzyme 5, ThiFP1, UFM1-activating enzyme, Ubiquitin-activating enzyme E1 domain-containing protein 1, UBA5, UBE1DC1
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Specificity: UBA5 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of UBA5 protein.
Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide, corresponding Human UBA5.
MW: ~ 45 kDa
Swis Prot.: Q9GZZ9
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.3.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
