Background:
V5-tag is a 14 amino acid peptide derived from the P and V proteins of the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 (SV5). The V5-tagged protein expression system is preferably used in various laboratories. Hence, the anti-V5-Tag antibody is a useful tool for monitoring of the V5-tagged protein.
