Background:
Villin is a kind of cytoskeleton protein with a molecular weight of 95 kDa, which is normally expressed in intestinal epithelium and renal proximal convoluted tubule epithelium. It can be used for the differential judging of intestinal epithelial tumors and non-intestinal epithelial tumors, and also as a reference index for the judging of gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors.
