Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Connexin 32/GJB1 detection. Tested with WB in Human;Mouse;Rat.
Protein Function:
One gap junction consists of a cluster of closely packed pairs of transmembrane channels, the connexons, through which materials of low MW diffuse from one cell to a neighboring cell.
Subcellular Localization: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. Cell junction, gap junction.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence of human Connexin 32/GJB1 (AMHVAHQQHIEKKMLRLEGHGDPLHLEEVKRHKVH).
Format: Lyophilized
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Contents: Each vial contains 4mg Trehalose, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.
Storage: At -20˚C; for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C; for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C; for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
